Ingredients:

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4 limes)
  • 2 tablespoons tequila
  • 1 tablespoon orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

For Garnish:

  • Whipped cream
  • Lime zest
  • Lime slices (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture is well-combined. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  2. Make the Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, tequila, and orange liqueur until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is light and airy.
  3. Assemble the Pie: Pour the filling into the cooled graham cracker crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, top the pie with whipped cream and sprinkle lime zest on top. For an extra touch, garnish with lime slices. Serve chilled and enjoy!
