Sausage Cheese Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground sausage (mild, hot, or breakfast sausage)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, cheddar cheese, baking mix, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and milk.
  3. Using your hands or a sturdy spoon, mix the ingredients together until fully combined. The mixture should hold its shape when rolled.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Sausage cheese balls are best served warm, but they can also be made ahead and reheated when needed. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch, marinara, or mustard, for an extra burst of flavor!
