Santa Hat Brownies

Ingredients:

  • Brownies:
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Brownies:
    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
    2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
    3. In a separate bowl, sift together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
    4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

    2. Place a hulled strawberry, pointed end up, on each brownie circle.
  3. Add the Whipped Cream:
    1. Using a piping bag fitted with a small round tip or a spoon, pipe or dollop whipped cream around the base of each strawberry to create the white “trim” of Santa’s hat.
    2. Add a small dot of whipped cream at the tip of each strawberry to complete the “pom-pom” on top of the hat.
  4. Serve and Enjoy:
