Ingredients:

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms, stems removed and gills scraped out
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds

  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Balsamic glaze

Instructions:

  4. Assemble the Stacks:
    • Start by placing one portobello mushroom on a serving plate.
    • Top with a slice of tomato, followed by a slice of fresh mozzarella.
    • Repeat the layers if desired, creating a stack.
    • Finish with a fresh basil leaf on top.
  5. Drizzle and Serve:
    • Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top of each stack.
