  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. In a large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips and crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
