Ingredients:

  • 3 cups plain rice cereal
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup marshmallows

For the Strawberry Layer:

  • 3 cups strawberry-flavored rice cereal
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 1/2 cup marshmallows

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chocolate layer: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the cocoa powder and stir until combined. Add the marshmallows and chocolate chips, stirring until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and quickly fold in the chocolate rice cereal until evenly coated. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch pan to create the bottom layer.
  2. Prepare the vanilla layer: In another saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the vanilla extract and white chocolate chips, stirring until smooth. Add the marshmallows and continue stirring until fully melted. Remove from heat and fold in the plain rice cereal until well combined.
