Ingredients:
- 1 batch pizza dough (store-bought or homemade) or 4-6 English muffins, pita bread, or bagels
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce (or marinara sauce)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of your choice (pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, onions, etc.)
- Olive oil, for brushing
- Fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the pizza base:
- If using pizza dough, roll it out on a floured surface and cut it into 4-6 small circles (about 4-5 inches in diameter). If using English muffins, pita bread, or bagels, simply split them in half to form your mini pizza bases.
- Assemble the mini pizzas:
- Place the mini pizza bases on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush each base with olive oil.
