Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the honey glaze:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional for heat)
- 1 tsp minced garlic
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack and bake for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the honey glaze. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, butter, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, and minced garlic. Heat over medium-low heat until the butter melts and the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
- Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey glaze until fully coated.
- Return the glazed wings to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
- Remove from the oven and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy!
