HONEY CINNAMON ROLL-UPS

Honey Cinnamon Roll-Ups are a delightful treat that combines the comforting flavors of cinnamon and honey with a crispy, golden crust. These easy-to-make roll-ups are perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack, offering a warm, sweet, and slightly spiced filling wrapped in soft tortillas. Ingredients:

  • 4 flour tortillas (small or medium)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional for extra sweetness)
  • Powdered sugar (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, mix the honey and 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Roll-Ups: Lay out the tortillas and brush them lightly with melted butter. Spread a thin layer of the honey-cinnamon mixture onto each tortilla. Roll the tortillas up tightly and place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush with Butter and Cinnamon: Brush the tops of the roll-ups with more melted butter. In a separate small bowl, combine the remaining cinnamon and sugar (if using). Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the roll-ups.
  5. Bake: Bake the roll-ups in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve: Remove the roll-ups from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar for extra sweetness, if desired.
