Haluski – Cabbage And Noodles

Haluski is a comforting Eastern European dish made with buttery fried cabbage and tender egg noodles. Traditionally found in Polish and Slovak cuisines, this simple, budget-friendly meal combines humble ingredients to create a hearty dish. The cabbage softens as it cooks in butter, becoming slightly sweet and caramelized, while the noodles provide a soft, chewy texture. Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, cored and thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. Cook the noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
