Ingredients:

  • For the dough (optional, or use canned biscuit dough):
    • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
    • 1 cup warm milk (110°F/43°C)
    • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
    • 1 egg
  • For the coating:
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough (if making from scratch):
    • In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
    • Mix in the melted butter, egg, and salt. Gradually add flour, kneading until a soft dough forms.
    • Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
    • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  2. Preheat the oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a deep round baking dish.
  3. Prepare the coating:
    • In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Assemble the bread:
    • Punch down the dough and divide it into 1-inch balls (if using pre-made dough, cut it into similar-sized pieces).
    • Dip each ball into the butter mixture, then roll it in Parmesan cheese.
    • Layer the coated dough balls evenly in the prepared bundt pan.
  5. Bake:
    • Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve:
    • Allow the bread to cool slightly before turning it out onto a serving plate. Garnish with extra parsley and Parmesan if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

This Garlic Parmesan Monkey Bread will quickly become a family favorite, bringing joy to every table with its cheesy, garlicky goodness!
