Ingredients:

  • 2 cups freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee

Instructions:

  3. Scrape the Granita: After 45 minutes, remove the dish from the freezer and use a fork to scrape any ice crystals that have begun to form. Return the dish to the freezer, and repeat scraping every 30 minutes for about 2-3 hours, or until the granita has a light, fluffy, crystal-like texture.
  4. Serve: Spoon the granita into small glasses or bowls. Top with a dollop of whipped cream if desired, for an extra touch of richness.

Tips: This Espresso Granita can be kept in the freezer and re-scraped for up to a few days, making it easy to enjoy at any time. Serve with biscotti or a chocolate shard for a more decadent treat!
