Dark Chocolate Brownies

These Dark Chocolate Brownies are a chocolate lover’s dream come true. Rich, fudgy, and incredibly indulgent, these brownies strike the perfect balance between decadently dense and lightly chewy. The intense dark chocolate flavor comes from a combination of melted dark chocolate and cocoa powder, providing a deep, slightly bitter taste that pairs beautifully with a hint of sweetness. Whether you’re serving them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or enjoying them straight from the pan, these brownies are guaranteed to satisfy any chocolate craving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup dark cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt the Chocolate and Butter: In a medium heatproof bowl, combine the butter and chopped dark chocolate. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth. Let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix in the Sugars: Stir in the granulated and brown sugars into the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
  4. Add the Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is glossy and smooth.
  5. Fold in Dry Ingredients: Sift together the flour, dark cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. Pour and Spread: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. The top should be set and slightly cracked.
  8. Cool and Cut: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.

These brownies are best stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days. Enjoy their rich, dark chocolate goodness!
