Crunchwrap Supreme

Crunchwrap Supreme is a fast-food favorite you can easily recreate at home, combining all the best elements of a taco and quesadilla in one crispy, handheld package. A flour tortilla is stuffed with seasoned ground beef, nacho cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes, and layered with a crunchy tostada shell for that signature crunch. It’s then folded into a hexagon and grilled until golden and crisp on the outside, making it the ultimate satisfying meal for taco lovers. Customize it with your favorite toppings and sauces for a fun and delicious dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
  • 6 tostada shells
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add the taco seasoning and water, and cook according to the seasoning packet instructions. Remove from heat.
  2. Warm the nacho cheese sauce and have all the other ingredients prepped and ready to assemble.
  3. Lay a large flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. In the center, spread about 2 tablespoons of nacho cheese sauce, then add a scoop of the seasoned ground beef.
  4. Place a tostada shell on top of the beef, followed by a dollop of sour cream, a handful of lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. To fold the Crunchwrap, carefully fold the edges of the tortilla over the filling, creating a hexagon shape. If your tortilla doesn’t fully cover the filling, you can tear a smaller piece from another tortilla and place it in the center to seal any gaps.
  6. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly brush with olive oil and place the folded Crunchwrap, seam-side down, onto the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling. Serve warm.
