Crock Pot Candy
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs white almond bark (broken into pieces)
- 4 oz German sweet chocolate (chopped)
- 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (24 oz) jar salted dry roasted peanuts
- 1 (24 oz) jar unsalted dry roasted peanuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large crock pot, layer the white almond bark, German sweet chocolate, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Make sure to break the almond bark into smaller pieces for even melting.
- Add the salted and unsalted peanuts on top of the chocolate layers.
- Cover the crock pot and set it on low heat. Let the mixture cook for about 2 hours, without stirring, to allow the chocolate to melt slowly.
- After 2 hours, stir the mixture thoroughly until the chocolate and peanuts are well combined. Add vanilla extract if using.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Drop spoonfuls of the candy mixture onto the sheet, forming clusters.
- Let the candy cool and harden at room temperature for about an hour, or place it in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
- Once fully set, store the Crock Pot Candy in an airtight container.
