CINNAMON BUN COOKIES

Instructions:

  1. Make the Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  2. Chill the Dough: Divide the dough in half and flatten each portion into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.
