With the added kick of Parmesan cheese and the option of crispy croutons, this pizza is a refreshing twist on classic pizza night, offering the hearty satisfaction of a Caesar salad with the comfort of a pizza. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or even entertaining guests!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked, shredded or grilled chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • 1/4 cup croutons (optional)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up. Otherwise, prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the pizza dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to your prepared baking sheet or hot pizza stone.
  3. Assemble the pizza base: Brush the pizza dough with olive oil, then spread a thin layer of Caesar dressing over the top, leaving a small border for the crust. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the dressing.
  4. Add the chicken: Distribute the cooked, shredded or grilled chicken evenly over the cheese layer.
  5. Bake the pizza: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Top with salad: While the pizza is baking, toss the chopped romaine lettuce with a little more Caesar dressing (optional). Once the pizza is out of the oven, immediately top it with the dressed romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes (if using), and remaining Parmesan cheese.
  7. Finish and serve: Add a sprinkle of freshly cracked black pepper and croutons for extra crunch, if desired. Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.

This Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza is best enjoyed fresh, offering the ultimate fusion of cheesy pizza and crisp salad in every bite!
