CHICKEN, BROCCOLI AND CASHEW STIR-FRY

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (slurry)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Toast the Cashews: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the cashews and toast them for 1-2 minutes until golden and fragrant. Remove and set aside.

  4. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey (or brown sugar), sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  5. Combine Everything: Return the chicken and cashews to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir well to coat. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and everything is heated through.
