Ingredients:

  • 10 fresh jalapenos, halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 10 slices of bacon, cut in half
  • Toothpicks

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Jalapenos: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Set them aside.
  2. Make the Filling: In a medium-sized bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika until well combined.
  3. Stuff the Jalapenos: Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half, filling them generously.
  4. Wrap with Bacon: Take half a slice of bacon and wrap it around each stuffed jalapeno half. Secure the bacon with a toothpick to keep it in place.
  5. Bake: Place the bacon-wrapped jalapenos on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Remove the jalapeno poppers from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!

Feel free to customize these poppers by adding different cheeses or spices to the filling to match your flavor preferences!
