Whether you’re hosting a brunch or just want a cozy meal, this quiche is a timeless classic that delivers on flavor every time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 store-bought or homemade pie crust
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish. Press it into the edges and trim any excess. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork and prebake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
  2. While the crust is baking, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels and crumble. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth and well combined.
  4. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon and shredded cheese evenly over the prebaked crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese, making sure everything is evenly distributed.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is lightly golden. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives, if desired.

This Bacon and Cheese Quiche is delicious on its own or served with a simple green salad for a complete meal. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
