Ingredients:

  • 1 head of butter lettuce, iceberg lettuce, or romaine (leaves separated and washed)
  • ¼ cup chopped peanuts
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro and mint leaves
  • Lime wedges

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Filling: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up into crumbles with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add Aromatics and Vegetables: Stir in the garlic, onion, bell pepper, and carrot. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
