Crock Pot Candy

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs white almond bark (broken into pieces)
  • 4 oz German sweet chocolate (chopped)
  • 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (24 oz) jar salted dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 (24 oz) jar unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large crock pot, layer the white almond bark, German sweet chocolate, and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Make sure to break the almond bark into smaller pieces for even melting.
  2. Add the salted and unsalted peanuts on top of the chocolate layers.
  3. Cover the crock pot and set it on low heat. Let the mixture cook for about 2 hours, without stirring, to allow the chocolate to melt slowly.
  4. After 2 hours, stir the mixture thoroughly until the chocolate and peanuts are well combined. Add vanilla extract if using.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Drop spoonfuls of the candy mixture onto the sheet, forming clusters.
  6. Let the candy cool and harden at room temperature for about an hour, or place it in the refrigerator to speed up the process.
  7. Once fully set, store the Crock Pot Candy in an airtight container.

Enjoy this easy and delicious homemade candy, perfect for snacking or sharing!
