Sour Cream Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the filling:

  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan or line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the springform pan to form the crust. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then set it aside to cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until well combined and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition to fully incorporate. Stir in the flour and mix until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the sour cream, mixing just until everything is evenly combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is just set and still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for an additional hour to cool slowly and prevent cracking.
  8. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  9. Once chilled, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan and serve plain or with your favorite toppings.

Enjoy your indulgent, creamy Sour Cream Cheesecake, perfect for any sweet occasion!
