Chocolate Pistachio Fudge

This rich and creamy Chocolate Pistachio Fudge is a decadent treat that combines the smoothness of chocolate with the crunch of pistachios. The natural sweetness of the chocolate perfectly complements the slightly salty, nutty flavor of the pistachios, creating an indulgent yet balanced dessert. This fudge is perfect for gift-giving, holiday treats, or satisfying your chocolate cravings in style. Best of all, it’s easy to make and requires just a few ingredients, making it an ideal choice for a quick but impressive homemade sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.
  2. Melt the chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Add vanilla and pistachios: Remove the pan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and half of the chopped pistachios until well combined.
  4. Transfer to pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining pistachios on top and gently press them into the fudge.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for about 2-3 hours, or until fully set.
  6. Slice and serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and slice it into small squares. Enjoy!

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
