FLAT IRON STEAK SALAD

The flat iron steak, known for its rich marbling and tenderness, is seasoned and seared to perfection, then sliced thin and laid over a bed of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and creamy avocado. A tangy balsamic vinaigrette ties everything together, making this salad a perfect choice for a satisfying yet healthy meal. Ingredients:

  • 1 pound flat iron steak
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling)
  • 6 cups mixed greens (such as arugula, spinach, and romaine)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta or blue cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Balsamic Vinaigrette:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:
